Individuals assigned to this level are expected to be able to perform the full range of Airport Communications Specialist duties with the exception of those unique to the ACS III level. The ACS II is distinguished from the ACS I level by independent performance of the range of Airport Communications Center duties, a comprehensive knowledge of law enforcement, fire, EMS and security operations, full awareness of the operating procedures and policies of Airport Operations Center and training of new employees.Work performed at this level is normally reviewed only on completion and for overall results. Positions at this level are flexibly staffed and are generally filled by advancement from the “ACS I" level or when filled from the outside, require prior experience. Advancement to the “ACS II" level is based on management judgment and/or certification or testing that validates the performance of the full range of Airport Communications Center duties. | ||||
